This is the image for the news article titled Eagle Scouts help improve Augusta Prep campusTwo Augusta Prep students adopted the school for their Eagle Scout projects this summer. Senior William Helfgott and junior Ben Monnig helped improve and beautify the campus with their work.

In June, Monnig worked on the Augusta Prep cross country trail, building a new bridge to help runners navigate the course better.

In July, Helfgott spearheaded the Middle School's Garden Design project, leading the effort with a team of volunteer to build two garden beds. Earlier in the year, two pair of Middle School students (Isabella Deaner and Thomas Lane Estes; Conar Harris, Sarah Vender and Chase Jackson) had their designs selected for the project. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the project was put on hold until Helfgott and his group of alumni, students, parents and friends spent several hours one Saturday morning building the projects.

Also, Helfgott, a certified beekeeper, donated a bee hive and two beekeeper suits to Augusta Prep.
