Class of 2018Augusta Prep recently held its Class of 2018 graduation in the Boardman Athletic Center. Forty-three graduates received their diplomas this year.

The Class of 2018 received acceptance letters from 71 different colleges and universities. The 43 students will be attending 28 different institutions of higher learning in the fall. Six students will be attending Georgia Tech, while three will be attending Georgia, three will matriculate at Georgia College and three will attend South Carolina. Two students each will attend Alabama, Emory and Samford.

Elizabeth Burton will attend Barnard College, a private, liberal arts college in New York City that is affiliated with the Ivy League's Columbia University. The acceptance rate for Barnard's Class of 2018 was 13.7 percent.

Ashley Patterson will attend school at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Isabel Hudson is headed to the University of Rochester in New York. Grady Hubbard will attend George Mason University in Washington, D.C. 

Four football players received offers to play at the next level - Palmer Bachelder (Central Florida), Hinson Fowler (Georgia Tech), James Garnett (Wofford) and Brian Stone (Methodist).

Ryan Jolly will play basketball at the United States Naval Academy. Jamie Holodak will run cross country and track at Baylor.
